We’re delighted to announce the launch of our new website for the ‘Solutions’ brand within the company. ‘Solutions’ offers supply of trade to bespoke high end kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms. As usual along with the good news it always seems to be counterbalanced with bad !! We’ve had a raft of increases through—it seems that the annual increases are no longer sufficient !?!…..

Birtley Price Increase

We have just been notified of a 16.25% increase to the Birtley range of lintels which will be implemented on 7 March 2011. As this is a significant increase we thought prudent to notify as early as we could.

October Newsletter

We always like to try and keep everyone up-to-date on what we’re up to without deluging you with too much ‘filing’ (for the bin !). Since our last newsletter (July 2010) we’ve got the following to tell you….

Our Solutions kitchen & bathroom showroom has mainly been refitted bring a great new range of products. We’ve introduced bathrooms by PURITY which is exclusive to us. A great range of products at great prices !!

We’re currently working hard on the introduction of a computerised hire system. This is taking far longer than expected (don’t these things always) but should be online within the next month or two.

Finally, we are also enclosing info on our up & coming OPEN WEEKEND. Pop the dates in your diary !!

FRIDAY 12 NOVEMBER & SATURDAY 13 NOVEMBER !

On Friday we’ll be joined by the Makita demo team and the guys from Brett Martin & yes the BBQ will be on !

On Saturday we’ll be joined by Paul from the Loose Moose Catering Co who’ll be demonstrating the latest in cooking technology from Rangemaster.

Timber Supply

It seems the supply of timber is being outstripped by demand. Homegrown sawmills simply cannot cope and are unable to accept any new business and therefore the stocks from Europe are rising sharply in price. We are currently negotiating with our importers to secure large stocks of our standard product now to try and minimize the increase. Please check price and availability when ordering – we will maintain our current rates for as long as possible !

Hanson Price Increase

We have today received notification from Hanson of a 5% increase across their brick, Thermalite, aggregate block and Redbank product ranges from 1 January 2010.
